Boaz Weinstein is the founder and chief investment officer of Saba Capital Management, a $1.5 billion credit hedge fund based in New York City. Weinstein founded Saba in 2009 as a lift out of the Deutsche Bank proprietary credit trading group, which he started in 1998. At Saba, Weinstein leads a team of 50 professionals, with the senior members having worked together on average for 12 years.

In 2010 Weinstein endowed the Tali and Boaz Weinstein Foundation, whose philanthropic initiatives focus on education, with particular attention to poverty, Jewish causes and underprivileged children in New York City.

Weinstein graduated from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, with a BA in philosophy. He achieved the title of National Master in chess at age 16.
